To All The Daughters (this one's for you)

To all the daughters in this world, this message is for you. A simple reminder to be gentle, to be loving and to take a break from the perfect human you expect yourself to be.

Dear Daughter,

I love you - I truly love everything about the creation and being that you are! You are wonderful and beautiful in your own light. You were made with love and now it is your mission to go out and give back that same type of love to every person who crosses paths with you. Let them feel your magnetic energy and when they question why it feels different, but special you will look at them with love and they will know why you’re here on this earth.

Please take a moment to stop comparing yourself to all the girls who are also comparing themselves to other girls - you can’t see the vicious cycle that is tumbling over, but for one moment I ask of you to step away from the screen you feel trapped in and instead to stare into the eyes that belong to your precious soul. Admire your face, your eyes and how they glisten in the daylight sun, admire your smile and the cheeky dimples that are created as it widens ever so slightly, admire the way your nose crinkles when you laugh, admire the way your hair compliments the rest of your features and how you’ve decided to style it today, admire your body and what it allows you to do - run, walk, skip, play, dance; how does it make you feel when you dance and let the rest of the world slip away? Remember that moment instead and just breathe when life feels too much. Hold on to your body, embrace every corner. Do not feel ashamed of it. Remind yourself that you are enough just as you are. YOU ARE ENOUGH! Do not shout at yourself or talk down to your own reflection as if it isn’t doing what it’s meant to. You are only human and are serving yourself the best way you can in each moment that passes by. Love your mistakes, your flaws, your accomplishments, the big goals and the small goals too for they all have made you who you are today.

What does it mean to be a female? To stand grounded in our wildly vibrant yet soft and graceful feminine energy. To be an empowering warrior who goes after what she wants, loves unconditionally and if she chooses to has the power to rise up amongst all the other warriors and expand her soul to the greatest capacity with strength and love in her heart for herself and for those she surrounds herself with.

You are a sunflower goddess who is cherished from head to toe. Define yourself, your standards, your values, what you want your life to be about and then take the world by storm. Instead of liking and sharing all the places you want to visit, make it happen. See life through your own eyes and tell your story how you want to. If you don’t like something, then know that you have the power to change it. The female mind holds great power that most women are unaware or too afraid of - but we are capable of so much more than we give ourselves credit for. Our bodies and minds tell stories that most individuals can’t and we shouldn’t feel ashamed of that, instead I want to encourage females to use our stories, words and voices to empower another human being. Change the game, be a leader. Say how you feel, don’t hold back because you’re scared to be judged and ridiculed “Don’t wear that, don’t say that”. We are made to feel ashamed of our bodies and our thoughts. Let me remind you that you matter, your opinion is valued and your voice is understood; it is heard.

You are safe. You are a physical embodiment of love - you have enough love to give to yourself and others and it will come back to you in ten folds. Don’t be afraid to shine in your own light beautiful girl, for it is needed today and that is why I am here to remind you that I love you.

P.S Don’t be afraid to wear the red lipstick and flash a smile, it may just make somebodies day if not your own!
